The Kingdom of Bélgica has been shaken by the thunder of steel, fire, and pure heavy metal as a new cultural wave takes over the nation — a movement calling itself MANOWARRIOR. Inspired by the legendary American heavy metal band MANOWAR, this uprising of sound, brotherhood, and power has transformed quiet Belgian streets into battlefields of leather, long hair, and electric guitars. The battle cry? “ONLY MANOWAR UNTIL DEATH!”
From Ghent to Liège, Antwerp to Charleroi, a loyal army of MANOWARRIORS has risen. Clad in black leather, spikes, and wielding air guitars like battle axes, these warriors of metal have sworn allegiance to the eternal flame of true heavy metal. Gone are the days of mellow music and passive playlists. The national soundtrack is now forged in molten riffs and bass lines that roar like thunder.
“We were born to live forevermore,” shouted a MANOWARRIOR at a rally in downtown Brussels. “We ride the kingdom of steel, and Bélgica is now a land where the hammer reigns! This is more than music. This is life. This is death. This is MANOWAR.”
The movement began as a small gathering of fans paying tribute to MANOWAR’s message of honor, strength, and defiance. But within weeks, it had evolved into a cultural revolution. Street murals now depict armored warriors holding flaming guitars. Schools are reporting an uptick in Viking history interest, and some workplaces have even introduced “Metal Mondays” where only MANOWAR is played throughout the day.
In a symbolic gesture of allegiance, a statue of Joey DeMaio — MANOWAR’s founding bassist and spiritual leader of the movement — is set to be erected in the Grand Place in Brussels.
