Michigan cornerback Aamir Hall went undrafted and has not yet signed with an NFL team, but will get a tryout with the Detroit Lions during their rookie minicamp.

Ex-Michigan cornerback Aamir Hall has a chance to secure an NFL spot, and it’s not far from Ann Arbor. Hall is set to have a tryout with the Detroit Lions during their rookie minicamp. Hall is noted as being 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 205 pounds. An intriguing detail is that Hall is categorized as a safety, not as a cornerback.

Hall was with Richmond and Albany prior to signing with Michigan last season. Hall recorded two interceptions in 2024, along with 38 tackles (25 solo) and one forced fumble. Hall completed a 4.72-second 40-yard dash during Michigan’s pro day.

Even though Hall’s stay at Michigan was short, he will forever be remembered for one specific play, an interception of Will Howard from Ohio State during Michigan’s 13-10 victory over the Buckeyes in November.
