Apple Original Films has announced a forthcoming documentary on Fleetwood Mac, directed by five-time Academy Award nominee Frank Marshall. This fully authorized film will delve into the band’s 50-plus-year history, featuring new interviews with surviving members Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie, as well as archival footage and interviews with the late Christine McVie .
The documentary aims to explore the band’s trials, personal resilience, and musical achievements that led to the creation of enduring masterpieces. It will highlight the exceptional contributions of each member and the unique chemistry that propelled Fleetwood Mac to sell over 220 million records worldwide .
As of now, the documentary does not have a confirmed release date. It will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ upon its release .
