BREAKING NEWS: Accept Announces New Vocalist to Replace Mark Tornillo After His Permanent Departure**

In a significant development for heavy metal fans worldwide, legendary German metal band **Accept** has officially announced the appointment of a new lead vocalist following the permanent departure of longtime frontman **Mark Tornillo**. After a celebrated 15-year tenure with the band, Tornillo has stepped down from his role, citing personal reasons and a desire to focus on his health and family.

The band has now confirmed that **Jason McMaster**, known for his work with bands like Dangerous Toys and Watchtower, will take over as the new lead singer. McMaster, who had previously filled in for Tornillo during select U.S. tour dates in 2022 due to a respiratory illness, impressed both fans and band members alike with his dynamic stage presence and vocal range. His appointment as the new frontman marks a bold new era for Accept.

In an official statement released on the band’s social media, guitarist and founding member **Wolf Hoffmann** expressed both gratitude for Tornillo’s immense contributions and excitement for the future with McMaster:

> “Mark gave us a second life when he joined the band in 2009. He brought fire, integrity, and power back to Accept, and for that, we will always be grateful. We wish him the very best as he moves on to a new chapter in his life. At the same time, we’re incredibly excited to welcome Jason McMaster into the Accept family. He’s got the voice, the energy, and the spirit that defines this band.”

Tornillo’s tenure with Accept was marked by a strong comeback for the band, with albums like *Blood of the Nations* (2010), *Stalingrad* (2012), and *Too Mean to Die* (2021) earning critical acclaim and chart success. His gritty, high-octane vocal style reinvigorated Accept’s signature sound and helped bridge the gap between classic fans and new generations of metalheads.

Jason McMaster, in his first official statement as the new vocalist, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity:

> “This is an incredible honor. Accept has been a major force in metal, and stepping into this role is both humbling and thrilling. I have huge respect for Mark and everything he’s done. I’m ready to carry the torch and give the fans everything I’ve got.”

The band has also confirmed they are currently working on new material, with plans to release a studio album in 2026 featuring McMaster on vocals. Additionally, a world tour is scheduled to kick off later this year, with dates to be announced soon.

Accept’s lineup now includes Wolf Hoffmann (guitar), Uwe Lulis (guitar), Martin Motnik (bass), Christopher Williams (drums), and Jason McMaster (vocals).

Fans can expect a refreshed yet true-to-form version of Accept moving forward—one that honors the band’s rich history while forging ahead with renewed energy.
