On Friday, May 16, the president of the United States criticized the superstar singer again, apparently still harboring resentment toward her for supporting Democrats in the previous two presidential elections.

On Friday, May 16, Donald Trump criticized Taylor Swift, posting on social media that the singer is “no longer attractive.”

The post represents the most recent assault the president has directed at the singer, following his message “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” when she openly supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.

Trump also ridiculed Swift while celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl.

Donald Trump reignited his ongoing feud with Taylor Swift on Friday, May 16, taking a personal jab at the pop star on his Truth Social account.

“Has anyone observed that ever since I declared ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer considered ‘HOT?’ ” the 78-year-old president of the United States shared with his almost 10 million followers.

Trump’s first all-caps response to Swift occurred in September 2024, after the 35-year-old artist criticized AI-generated images of herself that were utilized to support his presidential campaign — and publicly declared her backing of Democrat Kamala Harris.

The following day, Trump addressed Swift’s endorsement during an interview with Fox & Friends.

“I wasn’t a fan of Taylor Swift,” he mentioned during the show. “It was merely a matter of time. …” However, she is quite a liberal individual. She appears to consistently support a Democrat. And she’s likely to face consequences for it in the market.

Since that time, it appears that Trump hasn’t released the resentment. He took another jab at the singer while commemorating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory at the White House on April 28.

Trump mentioned that he and Swift were both present at the championship game — with Swift clearly supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs.

“How did that go?” he inquired, prompting laughter from the audience, then asked again: “How did that one go?”

Although Trump may publicly profess to dislike the “Shake It Off” artist, some of his well-known relatives identify as Swifties.

In October 2024, the president’s first daughter, Ivanka Trump, brought her 13-year-old daughter, Arabella, to attend Swift’s Eras Tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

In July 2024, Arabella was gifted a birthday cake inspired by Swift.

“Top cake for my beloved Swiftie,” Ivanka wrote in an Instagram post showcasing the heart-shaped treat, which looked like the cake seen in the “Blank Space” music video.
