In a moment that has stunned the rock world, RUSH has officially announced their 2026 Global Tour, marking the band’s first major return to the stage since the passing of legendary drummer Neil Peart in 2020. Even more electrifying — the band revealed that world-renowned German drummer Anika Nilles will join Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson as the new rhythmic force behind the kit.

Titled “RUSH: Renaissance 2026,” the tour promises to honor the group’s unparalleled legacy while embracing a bold new chapter of innovation and artistry. Launching April 4, 2026, in Toronto, the band’s hometown, the tour will travel through North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, hitting major cities including New York, London, Berlin, São Paulo, Tokyo, and Sydney.

Fans can expect a breathtaking production featuring classic RUSH masterpieces like “Tom Sawyer,” “YYZ,” “2112,” and “The Spirit of Radio” — reimagined with Anika’s dynamic precision and explosive creativity. The shows will also debut new music from RUSH’s upcoming album, their first studio effort in over a decade, exploring themes of rebirth, legacy, and the unending spirit of creation.
